We Were Liars

This is a quick read by E. Lockhart, and it was okay in my opinion. This book is about a 17 year old girl named Cadence, and she always spends the summer on an island with her friends and family. After she experiences an accident, Cadence is left with amnesia and brain trauma. She doesn't remember all of those happy memories on the island, and all she has now are prescription drugs and books to pass the time. Anyone in our class can read it for sure, but personally I didn't really like it as much. I didn't hate it, but still. I don't really know what it is but for me something was missing in the story.
